Yes — we do corporate training too.
Most Filipinos know SOVA as the Philippines’ train-to-hire school for virtual assistants. That’s still the biggest thing we do — over 1,200 Filipino VAs trained across Cebu, Iligan, CDO, Butuan, and Bukidnon since we started.
But quietly, over the last few years, we’ve become something else too: a corporate training provider for Philippine companies and international employers hiring in the Philippines.
This page is for HR managers, learning & development leads, business owners, and anyone else looking to bring in a professional external trainer for their team. Here’s what we offer, who we’re for, and how to engage us.
What we train
Our corporate programs cover the areas where Philippine and international teams most often need external expertise:
1. Customer Service Training
End-to-end customer service programs — from handling difficult customers, to service recovery, to building loyalty. Delivered in Bisaya, Tagalog, or English, tailored to whether your team handles walk-in, phone, chat, email, or hybrid support.
2. Consultative Sales & Objection Handling
For outbound tele-sales teams, showroom reps, financial services agents, and anyone whose job depends on turning a hesitant “maybe” into a confident “yes.” We teach discovery, needs identification, objection reframing, and ethical closing — not high-pressure scripts.
3. Virtual Assistant & Remote Work Skills
For companies building or upskilling in-house remote teams. Covers modern tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, project management), asynchronous communication, self-management, and outcomes-based work — the same curriculum that has placed hundreds of our VA graduates with US, AU, and UK clients.
4. AI & Automation for Working Professionals
Practical, hands-on training on how modern AI tools change day-to-day work — for admin teams, marketing teams, operations teams. Not theory. Real workflows your team can use Monday morning.
5. AEP-Aligned Training for Foreign Professionals
For companies employing foreign nationals in the Philippines who need training tied to their Alien Employment Permit (AEP) requirements from DOLE. Customer service, cultural adaptation, business communication — customized for professionals from Malaysia, China, Japan, Korea, India, and beyond. See our recent AEP training case study →
6. Bespoke Programs
If you have a specific L&D need that doesn’t fit a template — leadership skills for team leads, presentation skills for internal spokespeople, onboarding programs for new hires, English communication for BPO agents — we design custom curricula in partnership with your L&D team.
Who we’re for
Our corporate clients typically fall into four buckets:
- Philippine mid-market & enterprise — pawnshops, banks, insurance, retail chains, BPOs, real estate, hospitality, and other multi-branch businesses that need consistent training rolled out to teams across the country
- SMEs scaling their teams — 20–200 person Filipino companies that need to level up customer service, sales, or remote-work capability without hiring a full-time L&D team
- International companies with Philippine operations — foreign firms that need their Filipino staff (or their AEP-holding expat staff) trained to Philippine business standards
- Government & institutional clients — LGUs, agencies, and NGOs delivering skills programs for their communities
Why SOVA
You have options when choosing a corporate training provider. Here’s why we win the ones we win:
We’re practitioners, not just trainers
Our lead corporate trainer, Coach Katherine “Kathy” Padilla, has 10+ years of hands-on virtual assistance and operations experience. She runs her own outsourcing business (Pipie.co) alongside her SOVA work — so every story she tells in the training room is from a live client engagement, not a slide deck written years ago.
The same is true for the rest of our coaching bench: Coach Rene Leandro Padilla (SEO & digital strategy — also founder of PinoySEO), Coach Karl Padilla (web development), and 15+ other specialist coaches who are all still working in their respective fields today.
We deliver in your language
Bisaya, Tagalog, English — or whichever combination lets your team actually absorb the material. Filipino trainees learn faster when trainers don’t force English fluency as a prerequisite. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference.
We adjust in real time
Every corporate room is different. Sometimes the “beginner training” is actually experienced staff who need advanced material. Sometimes the “advanced training” is people who quietly need the fundamentals. Our trainers are experienced enough to read the room, adjust the pace, and change the plan mid-session when needed. That’s not a soft skill — it’s a decade of teaching experience showing up in real time.
We deliver where you need us
Onsite delivery anywhere in the Philippines — we’ve delivered training in Cebu, Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan, Bukidnon, Dumaguete, Manila, and beyond. Online live sessions via Zoom for distributed teams. Hybrid formats when you have some team in-office and some remote.
We’re independent — no software to upsell
Some training providers exist to sell you their platform or their CRM. We don’t sell software. Our only interest is delivering training that actually moves the needle for your team. That’s it.

How our engagement process works
We keep it simple — here’s what happens from your first email to training day:
- Enquiry (day 1). You send us a short brief — team size, topic, timing, preferred location. Response within 24 hours.
- Discovery call (day 2–4). A 30-minute call with our team to understand your team’s current level, the specific outcomes you want, and any past training experiences.
- Proposal (day 5–7). We send a written proposal with a customized outline, trainer profile, methodology, and itemized quote.
- Contracting & scheduling. Standard PO or contract, 50% deposit to lock the date, balance on completion.
- Pre-training briefing (1 week before). Optional call with your team lead to finalize any last-minute customizations.
- Training delivery. Onsite or online. Materials, workbooks, and completion certificates provided.
- Post-training follow-up. Feedback survey, summary report, and optional 30-day check-in call.
Investment
Every engagement is custom-priced based on scope, but as a rough guide:
- Half-day workshop (2–4 hours, up to 20 pax) — starting from ₱35,000
- Full-day training (6–8 hours, up to 20 pax) — starting from ₱65,000
- Multi-day corporate programs (2–5 days) — starting from ₱120,000
- Ongoing training partnerships — quoted per engagement
All prices are exclusive of travel/accommodation for onsite delivery outside our home cities, and exclusive of any custom deck development beyond our standard curriculum.
Request for Quotation (RFQ)
If your company is running a formal RFQ or procurement process for a corporate training partner, we’re happy to participate. To make our response as tailored as possible, please include the following in your RFQ:
- Topic and desired learning outcomes
- Target audience (role, experience level, team size)
- Preferred format (onsite, online, hybrid) and location
- Preferred dates or date range
- Any technical or industry context we should know
- Submission deadline and preferred proposal format
We aim to submit RFQ responses within 3–5 business days of receipt.
