About the Role
VA4U is seeking a skilled and experienced Mortgage Broker Virtual Assistant to provide comprehensive support to a busy Australian Mortgage Broker. In this pivotal role, you’ll handle loan processing, client communication, and essential administrative duties, ensuring a seamless loan application journey from initial enquiry through to settlement.
This position is perfect for someone who has worked hands-on with an Australian Mortgage Brokerage and possesses a deep understanding of the end-to-end mortgage process. You’ll join a supportive team with well-established systems, SOPs, and extensive training resources, allowing you to deliver exceptional service while keeping applications moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise the broker’s Outlook inbox.
- Process and monitor loan applications from submission to settlement.
- Request, collect, and diligently follow up on outstanding client documentation.
- Upload and organise documents in lender portals and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and detailed file notes.
- Liaise proactively with clients, lenders, and stakeholders regarding application progress.
- Prepare complete loan files for broker review.
- Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email.
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient loan processing.
- Follow established workflows, SOPs, and checklists with consistency.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working for an Australian Mortgage Broker is REQUIRED.
- In-depth understanding of the Australian mortgage application process from enquiry to settlement.
- Experience working with multiple Australian lenders.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Exceptional written and spoken English communication.
- High accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently within set processes.
- Reliable work-from-home setup with a stable internet connection.
Highly Regarded
- Experience using Australian mortgage CRM systems.
- Direct loan processing and application progression experience.
- Skilled in managing digital client files and document portals.
- Outlook inbox management expertise.
- Previous experience in remote or virtual roles.
