This role is critical in keeping our financial operations clean, fast, and reliable while buying back leadership time.

Mission:

Buy back 80% of the CEO/ops leader’s time by owning day-to-day finance operations, maintaining accurate books, and delivering clear, timely financial visibility.

Outcomes:

  1. Financial Accuracy: Maintain <1% error rate across all financial reports monthly.
  2. Monthly Close Speed: Deliver clean books within ≤5 business days of month-end.
  3. Cash Visibility: Provide a weekly cash report, always on time.
  4. AR Collection: Ensure >90% of invoices are collected within 30 days.
  5. Billing Accuracy: Achieve <1% billing errors with 100% on-time invoicing.

Competencies:

  1. Accuracy: You don’t tolerate “almost right”—your numbers match reality.
  2. Ownership: You own outcomes, not just tasks.
  3. Communication: You provide clear, structured updates in Slack and reports.
  4. Spreadsheets: You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
  5. QuickBooks Online: You can confidently manage QBO day-to-day.
