Virtual RN Assistant – Full-Time (Hawaii Time)
Overview
Seeking a reliable, tech-savvy Virtual RN Assistant to support clinical documentation, patient communication, and care coordination in a fully remote setting. Direct training provided by the physician.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer inbound patient phone calls
• Manage patient messaging through Spruce
• Scribe during visits and complete patient notes
• Process medication refill requests
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance
• Utilize Microsoft Teams and Tebra EMR daily
Requirements
• Active RN license preferred
• Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace
• Strong technical proficiency and ability to navigate multiple digital platforms simultaneously
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred
• Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal/written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
Technical Competency Assessment
All candidates must complete a brief technical skills assessment, which includes:
• Internet speed verification (live screen share required)
• Real-time documentation/scribing simulation
• Workflow prioritization scenario
• Basic troubleshooting demonstration
• Typing speed verification
Schedule (Hawaii Standard Time)
• Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Total: 40 hours per week
Work Expectations
This is a salaried position with a standard 40-hour weekly schedule. The role requires ownership and accountability; at times, responsibilities may extend beyond scheduled hours to ensure patient care continuity. Performance, reliability, and initiative are strongly considered in compensation growth.
Compensation
• Up to P50,000 monthly in addition to salary increase and bonuses which are highly dependent on job performance and demonstrated competency
• 3-month probationary period at PHP 26,000 with biweekly evaluations; salary may increase during probation based on performance
•onboarding with provider oversight; strong self-led learning expected
