Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Virtual Legal Assistant to help our client and their legal team. The responsibilities will encompass a wide range of administrative, legal, and organizational tasks. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the initial stages of legal cases
- Request and follow up on medical records as necessary
- Perform data entry into the case management system (Neos)
- Communicate effectively with clients via email and phone, providing updates and following up as needed
- Contact medical providers for unresponsive cases
- Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines for the legal team
- Handle various administrative tasks, including uploading documents, saving files, and responding to emails.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist with invoice management
- Maintain detailed records, upload proof of payments, and track expenses
- Prepare intake packages, deposition notices, certificates of service, and cover letters.
- Assist with document preparation, such as combining PDFs and tagging emails with relevant documents
Requirements
- Graduated with a 3-year or 4-year Bachelor’s degree
- Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
- Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff, a time-tracking application
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of precision.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Experience in email management and client communication.
- Legal background or experience in a law firm is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using Neos, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Pro, DropBox, SharePoint and Crenexa
- Computer or laptop with access to the internet (minimum speed of 25 Mbps)
Hardware Requirements
- At least a 720p HD Webcam.
- A noise-canceling headset.
- At least a 25mbps primary internet connection.
- A backup laptop, backup internet connection device, and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies.
- Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher
- Minimum recommended for your backup computer: Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM
Compensation and Benefits
- Earn a competitive hourly rate, which can be up to PHP 42,500 per month, based on experience.
