Virtual Assistant (E-commerce & Marketing Support)

Job Scope: We are seeking a proactive and creative Virtual Assistant to support the daily e-commerce and marketing operations of our cake shop. You will be responsible for maintaining our online presence, ensuring product listings are updated, assisting with basic marketing designs, and providing monthly performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

– Maintain and update product listings on our e-commerce platform (Wix).
– Upload new items and manage listings on Google Merchant Center.
– Create simple, attractive graphics for marketing materials (e.g., social media posts, banners, EDMs).
– Organize and file product and marketing images systematically.
– Prepare and submit an end-of-month company progress report (summary of website traffic, sales highlights, marketing activities, etc.).
– Offer suggestions for improvements to enhance the company’s competitiveness and visibility.

Skills & Requirements:

– Proficient in Canva and basic Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator preferred).
– Familiarity with managing Google Business Profiles and Google Merchant Center.
– Good technical skills — able to resize images, optimize graphics for web, basic troubleshooting.
– Highly responsible, organized, and able to complete tasks independently and on time.
– Strong initiative and willingness to contribute ideas for marketing, design, or platform improvements.
– Good written communication skills (for updating product descriptions and simple captions is a plus).
– Own your own hardware (laptop, mobile, etc.), software (adobe, etc.) and have a strong wifi.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Prior experience managing Wix websites or similar CMS platforms.
– Basic understanding of e-commerce sales flows and digital marketing.
– A keen eye for design aesthetics suitable for a cake/baking brand.

Work Hours:

Part-time / flexible, with specific deadlines for deliverables.
Occasional real-time meetings/check-ins required (online).
