Estimator (HVAC / Airconditioning) – Remote

for an Airconditioning Company

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Estimator with a strong background in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or Airconditioning systems to join our team in a fully remote capacity.

If you have experience preparing estimates, interpreting mechanical drawings, and supporting operations or sales teams with accurate costing and technical assessments, this role is for you

What You’ll Do

As our Estimator, you will:

– Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for HVAC and airconditioning projects

– Interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings

– Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns

– Assist in pricing materials, labour, and equipment

– Work closely with project managers, technicians, and sales teams to clarify requirements

– Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for updated pricing

– Assist in proposal preparation and submission

– Maintain a database of pricing, suppliers, and material specification

Ideal Candidate

You will thrive in this role if you have:

– A background in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Airconditioning systems

– Experience in project estimation, tender work, or technical costings

– Familiarity with HVAC components (ducting, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, FCUs, condensers, etc.)

– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

– Strong analytical and mathematical skills

– Excellent written communication

– Experience working remotely and delivering outputs independently

Schedule: Australian business hours

Reports to: Project Manager / Operations Manager
