Experienced Medical Transcriptionists

Job Summary:

Responsible for listening and transcribing dictated recordings made by physicians and other healthcare professionals. Edits and proofreads text for accuracy.

Primary responsibilities:

· Accurately transcribe diagnostic-imaging studies (e.g., x-ray, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound reports), discharge summaries, history and physical reports, operative reports, consultation reports, progress notes, and referral letters.

· Proofread document for grammar and typing errors.

· Use medical terminology to accurately convey diagnosis or treatment.

· Comply with specific standards that apply to the style of medical records and to the legal and ethical requirements for keeping patient information confidential.

· Ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

· At least 1 year of actual working experience as a medical transcriptionist.

· Excellent written English proficiency.

· Good critical thinking skills.

· With computer skills for research, messaging, internet and office applications.

· Can type at least 50wpm

· Can work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong eye for detail and good work ethics.

· Work from Home arrangement may be offered (at the company’s option) to qualified applicants subject to certain terms and condition.
