About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Freight Dispatcher Virtual Assistant to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will coordinate freight movements, communicate with drivers and clients, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods—all from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities
Freight Coordination: Plan and schedule freight pickups and deliveries, optimizing routes for cost and time efficiency.
Driver Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing them with accurate load information and handling updates or issues.
Customer Service: Maintain communication with clients regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and any potential delays.
Load Booking: Identify and secure loads from load boards or freight brokers that match the company’s capabilities and needs.
Documentation: Ensure all required paperwork, including BOLs (Bills of Lading) and contracts, is completed and accurately maintained.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to delays, route changes, or unforeseen challenges.
System Management: Update transportation management software (TMS) with real-time information regarding freight and routes.
Qualifications
Experience:
Previous experience as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator, or virtual assistant in the freight industry is preferred.
Familiarity with load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) and freight broker interactions is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under time-sensitive conditions.
Proficiency in using logistics software or TMS platforms.
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively.
Technical Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Computer with updated software and capabilities for managing logistics platforms and communication tools.
Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of U.S. freight regulations and compliance standards.
Basic understanding of freight costing and pricing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications: Php30,000/month
