Overview:
We are a dynamic freight brokerage seeking a driven and resourceful Seasonal Sales Representative to join our team. This remote role focuses on outbound sales to generate new business opportunities. The position is for 100 days, with the potential for extension based on performance.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct outbound sales outreach via email, phone, and other channels.
• Cold leads will be provided but applicant might need to generate his/her own leads too.
• Send shipper information and packets to potential customers.
• Schedule follow-up calls or in-person meetings for the Sales Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of leads and their status.
• Report weekly on warm leads and progress toward targets.
• Potentially close leads independently, contributing directly to new business.
Goals:
• Generate opportunities that result in 4-5 new customers within the 100-day period.
• Note: An opportunity involves:
o Sending our company information and shipper packet to leads.
o Setting up follow-ups and scheduling meetings.
o Vetting true warm leads for the Shipping Manager to pursue further.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in outbound sales, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and basic productivity software.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment. Equipment won’t be provided.
• Available to work from 08:00-17:00 CST. With 1 hour unpaid break.
Compensation:
• Starting pay is $6.25/hour.
• Salary is paid once a week. Ranging from Php14,500 – Php14,700/week.
• Commission will be discussed further.
• Potential pay increase after 100 days based on performance.
Performance Metrics
Activity Metrics:
• Daily/weekly outbound emails or calls made.
• Number of shipper packets sent.
• Number of follow-up calls scheduled.
Outcome Metrics:
• Number of warm leads generated weekly.
• Number of in-person meetings or follow-ups arranged for you.
• Number of new customers landed (target: 4-5).
Quality Metrics:
• Accuracy of lead tracking in CRM.
• Feedback from potential customers on professionalism and communication.
Reporting Structure
Weekly Reporting:
• Summary of Activities:
o Total outbound contacts made.
o Shipper packets sent.
o Follow-ups scheduled.
• Lead Status:
o List of warm leads and their status.
o Highlight leads nearing close or requiring your input.
• Challenges/Opportunities:
o Report obstacles faced during outreach.
o Share opportunities for new strategies or markets.
Monthly Review:
• Compare activity metrics with set goals.
• Evaluate quality of leads and the potential pipeline.
• Adjust strategies and provide additional training if needed.
