Your mission

As Digital Marketing Specialist, your mission is to transform ad-hoc digital marketing efforts into strategic systematic foundation through comprehensive planning and hands-on execution. You’ll be responsible for establishing professional digital presence that drives US market engagement and strategic business development rather than just managing individual platforms.

Success in this role means building systematic digital marketing processes that free founder bandwidth while demonstrating strategic thinking capability and proactive leadership potential.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (AEST – Australian Eastern Standard Time)
  • Flexible within core hours as needed

What you’ll do

Daily, you’ll:

  • Manage and optimize unfinished Shopify website (client stated “our website is still unfinished… I need somebody who can just help manage that for me”)
  • Coordinate social media across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn platforms (client specified these exact platforms)
  • Work directly with founder during 9-to-5 schedule in similar timezone (client confirmed “9 to 5… we’re pretty flexible… they’ll just need to work on my schedule”)

Weekly, you’ll:

  • Provide strategic recommendations and have collaborative planning conversations (client emphasized “confident enough to have these conversations with me”)
  • Coordinate with part-time content creator and administrative support person
  • Research US market trends and competitive analysis that demonstrates strategic thinking capability and business development contribution

As you grow in the role:

  • Lead Amazon marketplace setup and optimization (client stated “Amazon would absolutely be the first platform we go on to”)
  • Eventually manage additional team members as company grows (client vision: “as we grow, we may need more people”)
