Position Overview:

Health Express Clinics is currently seeking a customer-oriented and proactive Dental Receptionist Virtual Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental office administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a virtual work environment. As a Dental Receptionist Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations for dental practices, ensuring seamless patient interactions and efficient office workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, dentists, and other dental office staff via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date appointment calendars.
  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and process insurance claims as needed.
  • Manage patient registration process, including updating patient records and collecting necessary information.
  • Coordinate with dental providers to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as billing inquiries, treatment plan coordination, and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or similar role in a dental office setting.
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eagle Soft or Open Dental) and electronic health records systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and basic dental procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in dental office administration.
  • Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual healthcare services.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language commonly spoken in dental settings.

Technical Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10 Pro at 32/64-bit – *Genuine
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 8th gen and above or AMD equivalent
  • Memory: at least 8GB RAM
  • Power Backup (Power pack): Generator or UPS Preferred
  • Internet subscription/speed: At least 50 Mbps (DSL/Fiber only); LTE connection not accepted
  • Headset w/ mic (Recommended: Plantronics Audio 628 Stereo USB Headset)
  • Webcam: HD 720p/1080p (Recommended: A4Tech PK-910H)
  • External monitor screen, 17,19 or 22 inch in size

Benefits:

  • Independent Contractor position
  • Compensation: $5/hr for the first 3 months and then $6/Hr afterwards.
  • CST/PST/EST work schedule.
  • HMO after 6 months of services
