About Course
Instructor: Coach Sherly is an experienced Property Manager and Owners Corporation Administrator based in Victoria, Melbourne, with a strong background in Commercial and Residential Property Management, Event Planning, Insurance, Marketing, and Trade Research.
She has over 20 years of experience in administration, sales, and marketing, including 10 years as a Market Researcher at a foreign embassy. She also managed her own wedding company and published her first book in 2024, “Gracefully Broken… Navigating Life in a Season of Grieving.”
Her professionalism, attention to detail, and real-world expertise make her an excellent mentor for aspiring Real Estate Virtual Assistants.

Course Overview
This bootcamp is designed to train aspiring Virtual Assistants to support Australian Real Estate businesses, with a focus on Property Management in Victoria.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of the Australian property market, tenancy laws, owners corporation management, and the real-world tasks performed by Real Estate VAs.
By the end of the program, you’ll be job-ready, with a strong understanding of how to assist property managers remotely and confidently handle administrative and client-facing tasks.

Module 1: Introduction to Real Estate in Australia
- Overview of the Real Estate industry in Australia
- Key agencies and governing bodies (REIV, Consumer Affairs Victoria, etc.)
- The Residential Tenancies Act 1997 (VIC) and other important regulations
- Roles and responsibilities of property owners, tenants, and property managers
- The leasing process: from advertising to tenancy agreements
- Common industry terms and workflow for Real Estate VAs
Module 2: Property Management (Commercial and Residential)
- Understanding commercial vs. residential property management
- Key responsibilities of property managers and how VAs can assist
- Rent collection, arrears, and lease renewals
- Coordinating maintenance and repair requests
- Handling inspections and tenant communication
- Property management tools
Module 3: Managing Common Property through Owners Corporation
- What is an Owners Corporation (Body Corporate)?
- Roles and obligations of lot owners and OC managers
- Maintenance, budgets, and levy management
- Record-keeping and compliance requirements
- How VAs can support OC managers with documentation and communication
Module 4: The VA’s Role in the Real Estate Industry
- Overview of Virtual Assistant roles in Australian Real Estate
- Daily tasks, tools, and time management for remote work
- Communication etiquette with Australian clients
- Real-world examples: workflows and sample tasks
- Preparing for employment: portfolio building and client onboarding
