About the job
We at Assist World are hiring a hands-on Marketing Assistant on behalf of a client, this person will own the day-to-day rhythm of our social presence, maintaining a rolling content calendar, creating on-brand social assets, publishing/scheduling posts, and actively monitoring and engaging in relevant communities (Facebook Groups, Reddit, etc.).
You’ll play a pivotal role on the team, amplifying our brand voice and strengthening connections with parents while supporting overall marketing execution.
Key Outcomes You’ll Own
- A 6–8 week rolling content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonality.
- Consistent delivery of on-brand social assets (static + short-form video).
- Active, authentic, and compliant community participation in parenting/babysitting groups and threads.
- Clear, weekly reporting on shipped content, performance, and recommendations.
Core Responsibilities:
Content Calendar & Publishing
- Build and maintain a 6–8 week rolling calendar in coordination with product launches, PR, and lifecycle campaigns.
- Draft channel-specific copy and schedule posts via Meta Business Suite and other schedulers (Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite).
- Maintain a shared content backlog and asset library; track approvals and versioning.
Creative Production
- Design social assets in Canva; create light short-form videos in CapCut/Premiere Rush.
- Ensure content follows brand consistency, accessibility best practices, and platform norms.
Community Management
- Monitor and engage in relevant Facebook Groups, Reddit threads, and parenting forums.
- Provide thoughtful, rules-compliant replies; escalate safety/PR/legal concerns per policy.
- Route member care issues to Operations/Support where needed.
Listening & Reporting
- Deliver weekly snapshots: engagement metrics, top posts, community trends.
- Track recurring FAQs/objections from parents; share insights with Marketing, Ops, and Product.
General Marketing Support
- Support the CMO with asset resizing, CMS updates, influencer list building, UGC permissions, and contractor coordination.
Tools You’ll Use
- Canva, Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, Buffer/Later/Hootsuite, CapCut/Premiere Rush, Asana, and our shared brand asset library.
