The PPC Marketing Specialist will design, implement, and optimise paid-search and paid-social campaigns across all major platforms, with a primary focus on Google Ads. This professional brings deep expertise in PPC platforms, holds current Google Ads certifications, and excels at translating data into actionable insights. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal stakeholders and managing client relationships.

Requirements

  • Plan, develop, and execute PPC strategies aligned with business objectives, target audiences, and budget parameters.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to inform bid strategies and ad group structures.
  • Create, review, and optimise ad copy, extensions, and creatives for Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and display networks.
  • Monitor campaign performance: track KPIs (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS), perform A/B tests, and refine campaigns to maximise ROI.
  • Manage campaign budgets and bid strategies, ensuring spend aligns with forecasts and profit targets.
  • Generate and present detailed performance reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Stay current with platform updates, industry trends, and emerging PPC technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Proven expertise in Google Ads, evidenced by active Google Ads Search and Display certifications.
  • Strong proficiency with additional PPC platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Microsoft Advertising).
  • Analytical mindset with advanced skills in interpreting campaign data and using tools like Google Analytics, Data Studio, or SuperMetrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at explaining complex digital metrics to non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail in campaign setup, tracking implementation, and data validation.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build rapport across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns for B2B and/or B2C clients.
  • Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Video) are mandatory; additional platform certifications highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable growth in traffic, leads, or revenue through paid channels.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM integration, and tag management for campaign tracking.
