We’re looking for a dedicated bookkeeper who can independently manage client accounts, troubleshoot issues, and deliver full-cycle bookkeeping with accuracy and confidence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take full ownership of 3–5 client accounts, managing all day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities including daily bank reconciliations, transaction categorization in QuickBooks, and resolving discrepancies or outstanding items.
  • Handle accounts payable by processing vendor payments, matching them to vendor statements, and coordinating directly with vendors to address any billing issues.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments as needed.
  • Prepare and audit weekly financial reports before sending them to clients, maintaining clear communication via email throughout.
  • Maintain an organized weekly workflow to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met consistently.

You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing remote bookkeeping team focused on reliability and excellent service. You’ll collaborate with a supportive network of professionals committed to maintaining top-tier financial operations for clients. You’ll also interface with vendors and clients directly, primarily through email.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Bookkeeper: Understands the full bookkeeping cycle, including reconciliations, reporting, AP/AR, error resolution, debits, credits, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Analytical Problem-Solver: Able to identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies and issues independently.
  • Self-Motivated & Responsible: Takes ownership of client accounts, demonstrates initiative, meets deadlines, and consistently delivers accurate work.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exhibits meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial records and reports.
  • QuickBooks Fluent: Proficient in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
  • Proactive Communicator: Communicates clearly and effectively (primarily via email) and proactively follows up on unresolved items.

  • Schedule: Mon – Fri 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (some flexibility for 10–6)
  • Employment Type: Full-time
