Your Role

As an AU Bookkeeper, you are responsible for:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero and other software for multiple clients
• Manage bank reconciliations, general ledger postings, and account reconciliations
• Assist with payroll processing and BAS/IAS preparation
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations in collaboration with clients
• Handle administrative tasks such as record maintenance, file organisation, and client correspondence
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency in bookkeeping and administration

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years bookkeeping experience with Australian clients
• Proficient in Xero (intermediate level or higher)
• Strong knowledge of Australian GST law, accounting standards, and practices
• Skilled in handling administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
