Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of a thriving solar energy company where your administrative expertise will directly contribute to expanding clean energy access across Melbourne and beyond. You’ll work with state-of-the-art customer relationship management systems and construction software while developing specialized knowledge in solar industry regulations and processes. Job Highlights

  • Paid Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7am – 4pm with 1 hour unpaid break | Australian Eastern Standard Time
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer communications and respond to inquiries through various digital channels
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in specialized construction management software
  • Utilize Go High Level platform for comprehensive customer relationship management
  • Prepare detailed quotations for residential and commercial solar installations
  • Process critical solar industry documentation including SCC paperwork and regulatory submissions
  • Handle Melbourne-specific grid connection applications and pre-approval processes
  • Support project coordination for both residential and commercial solar installations
  • Provide potential phone support and direct customer service as the role evolves
  • Maintain organized filing systems for compliance and project tracking purposes

Requirements

  • Previous experience with Go High Level platform strongly preferred
  • Background in solar industry operations, documentation, or related renewable energy field
  • Solid understanding of Melbourne’s solar regulations and approval processes
  • Excellent English communication skills for both written and potential verbal client interactions
  • Proficiency in data entry, administrative software systems, and digital communication tools
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial solar installation processes and industry terminology
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enthusiasm for renewable energy and environmental sustainability
